No 77 Squadron was awarded a South Korean Presidential Unit Citation during the Korean War. Personnel who were on the posted strength of No 77 Squadron in Korea during the period 1st November 1950 1st November 1951 are now authorized to wear the ribbon.

In addition, RAAF personnel currently serving in No 77 Squadron can wear the ribbon whilst ever they are on the posted strength of the squadron.
